Who is Cosmaphrodite ?
			"Cosmetic-addict" since my sweet childhood, it is a Thursday evening of March 2005 during the broadcast of "Envoyé Spécial" on France 2 that my vision radically swung. Since then, not a day passed that I was on the look-out for information on harmful effects caused by the daily use of our conventional cares and seek for alternatives. Today 49, well informed and passionate consumer, I am very keen to share my knowledge and experience with you.

More and more, we read that: cancer increased by 40% in 10 years, young couples face sterility, a baby is already allergic, 6 year old children are already asthmatic. Why? The answer is in food, plastic bottles and feeding-bottles, pollution, pesticides, cleaning products, aerosols, air fresheners and scented candles, perfumes (sprayed on the skin!), hair colourings, cosmetics...

Thanks to a profound involvement of manufacturers - respect for the human being, animals and the environment-, and to a passionate handful of professionals, certification bodies (Nature & Découvertes, Cosmébio, Ecocert in France; Soil in the United Kingdom and BDIH in Germany to quote only those close to us) and certified natural cares were brought to light.


Why Cosmaphrodite ?
Cosmetics for Aphrodite that we are, we therefore deserve the best in care for the health of our beauty and the one of those we love, brought into the world and raised.
Because it is inconceivable to continue to use cares presumed to make us more attractive whereas they do not contain any actives, and that without our knowledge they harm our health..
Because it was necessary to cross our borders to find these high-quality cosmetics, that the time of sad packaging and unpleasant products is history and replaced by a new sensorial, greedy and really efficient new organic cosmetic.
Last but not lease, because I want to offer you these products at the same price as those applied by our neighbours, whereas in general the difference in Belgium reaches 30% even more. Why must cosmetics be more expensive for Belgian consumers then the ones for French consumers for example?

This site is now yours and with your expectations, ideas, remarks and suggestions, I will make Cosmaphrodite evolve but always with the constant concern to propose only the excellence of nature.
